SURVEYING & MANAGEMENT FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION & HABITAT PROTECTION

A one-day course aimed at undergraduates, junior
ecologists, environmental professionals
and anyone entering into consultancy work

This on-site course encompasses:
   The theory and practice of water vole survey and monitoring work for
     conservation and habitat protection
   A practical water vole survey will also be carried out

MITIGATION & TRANSLOCATION,
IN THEORY & IN PRACTICE

A one day course aimed at undergraduates, junior ecologists, environmental professionals
and anyone entering into consultancy work

This advanced course encompasses:
   The theory and practice of water vole mitigation and translocation work
   A site visit will be made to a purpose designed receptor habitat
   Candidates will also be shown how to use humane water vole traps, re-settlement enclosures,
   feeding stations and territorial establishment techniques
